If you never heard of the Big Bang Theory well let me introduce you to it. Anything outrageous that can get your attention is a Big Bang. In the world of marketing you need to have things that stand out scare people, make them afraid, sad, happy, and sometimes confused. If you want people to notice your products then what better way to get their attention then with something abnormal. Mcdonalds says "I'm loving it", Burger King says "Have it your way", Lays patatoe chips says "You cant eat just one", and Coca Cola says 'This is the real thing". Marketing is one of those things that seperates the men from the boys. You either know how to do it, or you don't. I like to take the most outrageous ideas and use them to get emotions stirred up in people. I started using flyes with crazy images like me wrapped around a bottle with heels on. This one image had people so in a frenzy that they (people) all had some wild strange comments about what I had done. The end results was whether good or bad they haven't forgotten about me. Also, i used a flyer with a white man holding a gun to my head that picture was so controversial that people have told me that it was a classic and some have kept that as a souvenior. What ever is your fancy do it and do it big don't let fear of failure hold you back on making a big entrance into the world of marketing. Remember if you don't do it someone else will and you will always say I had that idea first.
