Image is Everything







Cool Water "Not Just lyrics" is an account of my life as a rapper and how I got started in the rap game. This Audio Cd were created to give me a different look to the public's eye. The marketing behind this idea is to position myself not only as a rapper, but someone who can be a conversationalist when it comes to any topic talked about.



Cool Water My Next Door Neighbor



My Next Door Neighbor was created from Cool Water meeting a young lady who lived in the same Apartment complex . She seemed to by very slick and always up to something. We took the idea and figured that if we used the next door effect that Cool Water would be presented as your friendly neighbor that you knew lived next door. Cool Water"My Next Door Neighbor" started off as a song, and from their the idea to create a movie was next. So the whole image and marketing behind this is to give an image of the simple guy effect living in your neighbor hood.


Cool Water You Better Buy A Gun
































This was the first single off the album "A Good Education Gone Bad" My home was broken into and this is where the idea for the song came about. You Better Buy A Gun if you want to stay alive with all the home invasion etc. So the whole image was to bring fear to the thought of people living without a gun so I placed the white guy's hand as a way of saying that we black folks are still oppressed by the Man if you catch my drift. The IMage was the most prolific image that Cool Water done up to date.











Cool Water "A Good Education Gone Bad" is a album about a someone who followed all the rules of life, but you he had to take the road less travled inorder to arrive at where he wanted to be. The imagery for this album cover is showing Cool Water passing the violence from one generation to the next! Why you ask? To convey the right message we must understand that all problems are always passed down from one generation to the next and their aint nothing new under the sun.

Cool Water & Hot Girlz Promotions In The Street



















































Cool Water used a female promotions team to market himself to the street. Pretty women always make the world go round, and as a marketing stragety it help for me (Cool Water) to brand my name to the help and help my image with the people so that other beautiful women would want to inquire about me just the same. Nina Albera & Cool Water worked the streets for about two years with these images/flyers and gotting people in the industry talking.



My mind begin to really look at the game upside down, because I see things abnormal than most people. I wanted to establish a brand that folks will always remember. We decided to put the Cool Water name and imagae on the cousevier bottle to gain maximum exposure. This marketing and promotions techinque is called a big bang theory, because this image was so provocative that everyone was in an uproar about what we did with these flyers. We of all shapes and sizes begin to form their own opinion about coolwater. Alot of people that he might he might be gay some people that he was just crazy, and some people that is was pure genius to try something out of the normal. The goal was to get people talking and thats what we did!
